ABS-CBN is a major commercial television network in the Philippines owned and operated by ABS-CBN Corporation. It was launched on 23 October 1953 becoming the first commercial television network in Asia.Its headquarters is in Quezon City.
Today the flagship terrestrial television channel in Mega Manila is DWWX-TV (VHF channel 2). The network operate terrestrially through Regional Network Group with its 25 fully owned originating television stations, 35 strategically located relay stations and 8 affiliate regional television network making it the largest terrestrial television network in the country. It is also seen worldwide on cable television and direct-to-home satellite through The Filipino Channel as well as in iptv and internet under its brand name TFC Now.
The network is all set for digital broadcasting and just waiting for the permission from the NTC.
